From 2014 to 2023, from the exploration of the medium and form by “Story of Stone”, to the thinking by “ Enlightenment from Daily life”, to the systematic study by “Flora”,  to now  the “Design Lesson” that are based on the instantaneous idea abandoning all external forms, Chen Ping's ten years of creation and practice with the framework of "methodology",  complete presentation of a true artist's state: thinking, style, appearance, continuity, focus and persistence.

BFM Exhibition | Because of a Bridge

The project was inspired by great art work  “ A Farewell on Chuihong Bridge” made by Tang Bohu, one of the most famous artist of Ming Dynasty. At that time, an ordinary farewell between literati gave the Chuihong Bridge a special historical significance, and the scroll left by Tang Bohu provided an opportunity for a number of historical literati to gather on the scroll and leave their names in the form of postscript, which in my opinion is a wonderful fate.

“与万物共生，与时代共鸣。”——是艺术总监郑闻为BFM艺术中心所作的社会愿景与艺术定位。他提出“万物光辉”作为BFM艺术中心开馆展的标题，正是对此理念强有力的呼应。“万物光辉”，意指苏州湾如同生命体与有机体一般蓬勃生长。本次展览旨在集中推出BMF艺术中心乃至苏州湾的形象气质，作为经济、文化、时尚、潮流汇集的新文化符号，体现苏州湾在经济影响力、文化引领力、科技创新力等三个方面非凡的先锋意识。
